The in-class TESOL teacher training programs are designed for upper-intermediate to advanced level international students and Canadians who want to learn how to teach English to speakers of other languages.
These programs focus on the communicative approach and include methodology, teaching theories, teaching strategies, and practical techniques for teaching English grammar, speaking, reading, listening, and writing. The programs also highlight the use of various elements such as music, art, and drama in the classroom.
The certificate program runs for 50 hours and is ideal for students who want to acheive an understanding of the fundamentals of ESL teaching and its practice. The diploma program runs for 100 hours and is more suitable for students who wish to study for a longer period and in more depth.
These are intensive and exciting programs that include an integrated practicum with a lot of student presentations and practice teaching to prepare students to teach in the real classroom!
Students who successfully complete the TESOL programs will receive the institute's Official TESOL Certificate or Diploma.
Online ESL Teacher Training Programs
TESOL Certificate and Diploma Programs
The Online TESOL teacher training programs are distance education programs that can be completed from anywhere in the world and are designed for international students and Canadians who are unable to attend classes at the school. They are ideal for students who are self-motivated and give the students the advantage to work in the comfort of their own home at their own pace.
The online programs focus on the communicative approach and cover the same topics as the in-class programs which include methodology, teaching theories, teaching strategies, and practical teaching techniques required for teaching in the real classroom.
Students receive the institute's study pack which includes the textbook, DVD, study schedule, as well as guidelines for completing the assignments for each unit of the program and communicate with their instructors through e-mail. Students who successfully complete the online certificate program (approximately 50 hours) or the online diploma program (approximately 100 hours) will receive the institute's internationally recognized TESOL certificate or diploma.
Students who successfully complete the TESOL programs will receive the institute's Official TESOL Certificate or Diploma.
This program provides students with 6 different levels of ESL from
beginner,
intermediate, to advanced and is ideal for students who plan to achieve a high level of English language skills and are looking for maximum benefit from a general English course.
The program covers all skill areas in English and follows a syllabus which is primarily designed
to develop the four skills of speaking, writing, reading, and listening, and to provide the opportunity for more fluency and accuracy practice.
Course materials include up-to-date textbooks, audio, and videotapes, reading materials and access to
the English Language Computer Lab and the internet.

They are
the perfect solution for students who need to refresh
their knowledge of English or improve their performance
in particular areas necessary to their professional
career or academic goals.
The courses include Speaking
Development (Everyday Situations), Speaking Development
(Discussion), Listening Development, Vocabulary
Development, Pronunciation Development, Writing
Development, and Higher/Advanced Skills Development.
The TOEFL iBT preparation Program requires an intermediate level of English language proficiency and is designed for ESL learners who want to prepare for this internationally recognized university entrance exam and improve their general English proficiency at the same time.
This program is especially designed to prepare students for the new challenges of TOEFL iBT and offers an intensive study and practice for this new version of TOEFL test.
The program includes test-taking strategies ,review of grammar points, essay writing, listening comprehension, and vocabulary building. Students will use the computer lab and appropriate software and improve their performance under time limits.

TOEIC Certificate Program
English for International Communication
The TOEIC program is for intermediate to pre-advanced level students and includes an intensive study of English grammar, reading, listening, and vocabulary.
This program is designed to raise your English proficiency level as quickly as possible and help you get a higher score on the TOEIC test, which measures your ability to use English for International Communication.
If you are interested in studying English deeply in a well-organized and intensive course with daily homework, daily vocabulary quizzes, weekly tests, and quality instruction, this program is for you!
Please note: This program is available for group admission only (minimum 5 students) for a 12-week period
ATC is authorized by Educational Testing Service (ETS) to conduct the Official TOEIC Test for its students
and ATC students can receive their Official TOEIC Certificate and Score Report from TOEIC Services Canada Inc.
